365体育网站The London campus remains open until further notice, however all class delivery is being delivered virtually on a temporary basis. Due to coronavirus restrictions and concerns, we will be authorising absences for Tier 4 students for a period of 60 days.
365体育网站This is the period of time under UKVI legislation that we can permit a student to be absent from class without any visa consequences. For LBS Tier 4 students, this is effective from 11 March 2020 to 10 May 2020.
All students will receive a form asking you to advise of your intentions with regards to attending classes. For Tier 4 visa compliance, this information will be used to track the intentions of students and used by LBS to justify the authorisation of absences over the 60 day period. We ask all Tier 4 students to complete this form in order to support us in meeting Tier 4 compliance requirements.
After the 60 days, we are looking at ways in which we can continue to monitor engagement in studies if physical presence at lectures continues to prove difficult. We are committed to supporting our Tier 4 students and will not be withdrawing visa sponsorship for any students on the basis of absences due to the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19).
Please note that Tier 4 visa working restrictions remain in place. Whether or not you are physically attending a class, your term time work conditions of your Tier 4 visa remain the same. As such, if you have classes scheduled during a period of time, you are limited to 20 hours per week for work.
